Hi all,

I receive the error An unexpected error occured. Please try again later. when I install SePortal on a local machine.
I include the form which I must fill. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong...

Is there someone in the worl who will help me..

A little problem is: I will run SePortal on a local machine and so the portal cannot be displayed for everyone....

After pressing the Installation button replies the machien with this error...

Durk..
The screen-shot you provided shows just the default inputs!

Did you put in your database name correctly, password, etc. ?

Also, can your local machine handle php files?

Sometimes the above can be overlooked.

If you can't install SePortal on your local machine

seportal > data > database >
There is a mysql_default.sql
Import content into your mysql database over phpMyAdmin
Go to table seportal_users and edit user "admin" = user_id 1
user_password (Function MD5) in value put your plain text password then save
( http://md5.benramsey.com/ )

Edit config.new.php and save as config.php
Test your SePortal...

I think the problem is the config.php.
I have explaind Durk in a PM how he could try to install it correct.

Sorry Folks,

But all suggestions won't work yet...
It's a strange error which I don't get.

I'm still looking for an solution.
